Drift Experience

What's Included?

Our ¥573,000 experience includes transport throughout Japan, 5 days drifting at Ebisu Circuit with expert tuition from Formula Drift driver Matty Hill, Fausto Yukio and (sometimes) a special guest instructor. All tyres, fuel and mechanics are provided to ensure maximum learning and drifting time. Lunch and accommodation are included in the package, including one luxury night stay in Tokyo where you will experience the nightlife. On your final day, we will visit specialty garages around Tokyo before departing home.

A drift experience package organised by the SidewaysX team has the capacity to take any driver and their skills to new highs. A week-long drift experience is tailored to the needs of each driver and their interests. Your previous track experience and your time behind the wheel of any manual car will be taken into consideration and used to help plan your time at Ebisu circuit. Some of the possible skills you can expect to put into practice include;

• Controlled donuts on a skid pan circuit
• Handbrake entries
• Handbrake entry to a controlled slide
• Linking turns on the skid pan circuit
• Clutch kick entry to handbrake
• High-speed Formula Drift style entry
• Left foot braking
• Linking turns on a faster race circuit
• Hitting clipping points
• Double apex cornering and reinitiating
• Running competition lines through marked zones
• Tandem battle practice
• As well as thrill rides on the famous Touge course and North Circuit

In addition to the above skills, expect to get to know all fellow students and instructors alike, make new friends, experience the Japanese drift scene, take a tour of Ebisu and meet some of the drift locals.
